Study on the flow through the organ surface Bonghan duct by using nanoparticles

Abstract

|
In 1960’s Dr. Bonghan Kim discovered the anatomical structure of acupuncture points and meridians, Bonghan system, and it was reconfirmed in our laboratory. In this study, we used nanoparticles, which had the fluorescence and the magnetic properties, for tracing the organ surface Bonghan duct (OSBHD) and confirming the flow of Bonghan liquid. After injection of nanoparticles by the homemade micro-injection device into OSBHD in situ, we traced the flow of nanoparticles by observing the fluorescence from them with the fluorescent stereomicroscope. As a result, it was observed that the nanoparticles flowed through the Bonghan duct in one direction.
